The project creates an interdisciplinary experiment between architecture, transportation engineering and economics. By integrating virtual gameplay with physical installation art, we testify the application of “mobility credit”, an incentive mechanism to promote low-carbon mobility. Upon entering the installation, visitors start the virtual game. The three routes designed in the installation correspond to three travel modes commonly used in daily life: driving/taxi, transit, biking/walking. By completing several trips in various scenarios, visitors learn to strategically balance long-term travel demand and limited credits. This mechanism aims to encourage low-carbon urban mobility while ensuring all travelers remain rational with their decisions.
